A LITTLE INSIGHT
Starting on the art side of conceptual thinking, Josephine was frequently tasked with writing headlines, copy, and naming. Switching to the writing side began at global and indie ad agencies and in-house, as she earned another degree. Writing felt more natural to her Irish-born self. Josephine worked as a Copywriter on a winning pitch for Grey Goose, Chevron’s Pride/women’s equity campaigns, Capital One, as well as in the aviation, automotive, health and wellness industries. She produced integrated digital, print, experiential, and social ideas and toolkits. Picking up a hammer and nails, power tools and timber, she fixed up foreclosures in between. A lucrative venture, but making an impact on cause-related/consumer campaigns and with college students as a English tutor proved more constructive.
